how do AOs review GPA/transcript?

weird question but are they like skimming to see anything jump out at them (bad grades/exceptional grades), or are they actually like reading it through and looking at courses and grades one at a time? i imagine its more of a like "oh this kid took a handful of APs, did good in their classes, so lets review the rest of their application now" sort of thing but idrk
