OWI in Michigan

hey everyone, just wanted to come here and maybe get some advice. i got my first OWI charge. i live in michigan and they caught me in west bloomfield. unfortunately i’m assigned to 48th district court (iykyk). this is my first offense, no prior record. also did not have any accident or injury. i was simply pulled over for driving too slow but i cooperated with the officers from arrest all the way until release. i haven’t been to court at all yet but will have to soon.

i was just wondering if anyone (preferably in michigan and especially who had this particular court) could tell me what their penalties were like. i did hire a lawyer (white male) but it’s just driving me crazy not knowing what to expect.

yes, i am a black female. and for those wondering what my bac was, i’m not sure. but i’m assuming it wasn’t over double the legal limit because my code of conduct for my charge online does not fall under the category for > 0.17.
