Hello Everyone,

I am Executive Director of **Village Light**, a nonprofit working in remote Himalayan communities in Nepal. [http://VillageLight.org](http://VillageLight.org)

We recently launched an economic development project where women in the high mountain village of Samagaun weave traditional Tibetan rugs with yak and sheep wool. We are now trying to build a sustainable market for these handmade rugs and would greatly appreciate advice from experienced rug dealers, appraisers, collectors, and retailers.

**Our main questions are:**

1.    Who do you believe is the best target market for authentic handwoven Himalayan/Tibetan rugs?

2.    How would you approach retail and wholesale pricing for these rugs?

3.    Are there dealers, appraisers, galleries, or marketing resources you would recommend?

**You can see our project and rugs at:**

Thank you for any guidance you can provide. Your expertise could help create meaningful income opportunities for women and families in one of the world's most remote mountain regions.

**If you are open to providing us with some personal consultation, how can we connect?**
