8.5 Months of Widespread Twitching + Scalloped Tongue + Perceived Tongue Shrinking – Please Help

Hey everyone, I’m 24 male
I’ve been struggling with this for 8.5 months and I’m hoping someone can give me some insight.
Main Symptoms:
• Widespread twitching that jumps around my whole body (eyelids, jaw, lips, tongue, neck, shoulders, chest/nipples, arms, butt, stomach, thighs, calves, feet) sometimes the twiching feels like a buzz like phone vibrates in my thighs and sometimes get tingling and numbness in hands
• Scalloped/crenated tongue with visible grooves and lines (especially when sticking tongue out)
• tongue shrinking — I’ve been measuring it and comparing old photos, and it looks smaller in some pictures
• Sometimes tingling and numbness in my face
• Jaw twitching and mild jaw pain that gone for now
• Neck tightness that gone but still have neck twiching
• Occasional effortful breathing, especially when lying down
• Sometimes when I inhale through my mouth, spit goes down wrong and I cough
• Swallowing feels a little weird/off at times, but I can still talk and swallow normally
• Mild snoring and worse scalloped tongue in the mornings
I also get cramps if I move a certain way with my feet, calf’s or hip
Timeline:
• Started with eyelid twitching
• Quickly became widespread twitching all over
• Tongue symptoms and scalloped tongue started a few months in
• Twitching has decreased in the last couple weeks — now mostly in right bicep, nipple, and neck
Test Results:
• Bloodwork mostly normal (normal CK, normal thyroid, negative autoimmune markers)
• Mild anemia
• Slightly high liver enzymes, borderline glucose and lipids
I’ve been terrified of ALS this entire time, especially because of the tongue symptoms. I know the odds are very low after 8.5 months with no real weakness, but I’m still spiraling.
Has anyone had a similar experience with perceived tongue shrinking, scalloped tongue, and widespread twitching? Did an EMG help give you peace of mind?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
