Routine chart

Tips to Share

I want to start a/several routine charts for my toddler. I think it would be beneficial, not only to my son but to the whole family, since I have ADHD (and thus have trouble following a routine) and my husband sometime has his head in the clouds. Do you have any experience with a chart like the one you sometimes see on instagram? For example bedtime routine: brush teeth, book, pyjamas, … and then I’ve seen them with press-lights, stickers, ….
A morning routine would also be great since my husband will mostly be responsible (I go to work earlier).
My questions are: is this a good idea? Will it help us? Where do we hang the charts? What kind of charts should we use? How do you actually use it, like do you press a light every-time you finish a step?
I even thought of making a day overview: breakfast, get dressed, morning walk, lunch, nap, … . And a week chart to show my toddler that he’s home today with both parents or just one (with a picture of the parent), today is daycare, this weekend we’re visiting you’re grandmother etc…
Thanks for any insights you have!
