POTS compression re:feet

My 22 yo dd with POTS diagnosis benefits from compression socks and can only tolerate wellow because of sensory issues. She hates anything around her waist but doctor is asking her to try full compression leggings. She has so much pooling in her feet that she gets varicose veins in bottom of her feet. Would wearing compression shorts or leggings not work for her without socks? Trying to find a summer approach to wear with sandals and skirts.
