Can two mature people agree to just be F buddies?

When I was in law school, I met a very attractive flight attendant who flirted with me. The feelings were obviously mutual. We exchanged numbers and then for the next 2 1/2 years we would get together to F. It was honest and uncomplicated and raw and we both got what we wanted.

Is it crazy to think I could someone who only wants that later in life?
