Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a project called **Websktop** — it lets you convert any website or web app into a real desktop application without touching Electron or writing native code.

The idea came from a simple problem I kept facing:
every SaaS I built worked great in the browser, but packaging it as a desktop app was always slow, messy, and required too much setup.

So I built a platform that handles it automatically.

# What it does:

* Turn any URL into a desktop app
* Generate installers for Windows, macOS, and Linux
* Add custom branding (icon, name, splash screen)
* Enable auto-updates
* Package everything in a few clicks

# Who it’s for:

* SaaS founders who want desktop versions of their product
* Developers who don’t want to deal with Electron boilerplate
* Agencies shipping internal tools
* Anyone wrapping web apps into installable software

# Why I’m sharing this:

It’s still early, and I’m actively improving it. I’d love honest feedback from people building or shipping desktop apps.

If you’ve ever tried turning a web app into a desktop app, what was your biggest pain point?
