HR vs. Project Controls
Hi everyone,
I wanted to get serious advice from people who have worked on these two fields (no biases!)
I have worked professionally in HR field for 2 years and after getting an offer from a company for Project Controls Specialist in the construction, I am kinda stuck.
I know they are totally different career paths, but which one is better long-term and more essential skills? I am age 24 and it is okay with pivoting my career? I still have a thought of going back to HR in the near future, but how do recruiters think if you pivoted your career?
As someone who has been working in HR field for 2 years, I am pretty well aware of the HR career pathways and progression, but for project controls and Project Management, I would like to learn the career path and its progression.
I genuinely would like to hear peoples' perspective on whether HR or Project Controls, which career is worth it long-term? This includes work-life balance, working environment, and the pay progression as well.
