I keep getting rejected from jobs and feel exhausted
I’m looking for a job as a first-year teacher. So far I’ve had 5 interviews and have been rejected from all 5. The interview questions they ask all seem so complex and confusing to me. I don’t know if it’s my comprehension or the fact that I have no full experience teaching yet but it’s making me exhausted and discouraged. I’m answering to the best of my ability and I think I’m giving the answers they want to hear from a successful teacher but so far it hasn’t led anywhere. I’ve cried for days out of frustration at not being able to answer the questions the way admin expects. I’ve practiced answering multiple questions with my family but once the interviews roll around none of the questions I practiced are asked. It has taken me close to a decade to become a teacher and now that I’m finally certified I can’t find a job due to what I believe are my interview answers. I’ve only had one school tell me that I didn’t get the job due to “lack of experience.” Any advice?
