Need Advice - Freelancing (SEO and Content writing)

Hi, I am new to this. So it would be helpful if you could help me out or give me certain advice to improve my source.

Basically, I started freelancing with a friend. He is an oldtimer and works on Upwork and has a lot of flow of clients. I started working with him as a content writer and AI humanizer. Being paid 1rs/word is good for a startupa start-up. I have completed almost 40 projects for him, which are generally from 1000/1500 words each. And it has been going well. Should I continue this, or is there a legitimate way to improve it? I'd appreciate healthy advice from professionals, and any opportunities you can offer would be a great help. Thank you
