Steam games on NAS, hdd 1Gbps network.

Hello you beautiful people, I write in case someone here has already tried that.

I have a acer easystore H340 with OMV and shared drives, now formatted on NTFS but will change that.

HDD are pretty much up there with Gigabit speed so I was thinking of installing games from Steam to a disk into the NAS and run them from there.
Games that need it (faster speed) will go into the (small) M.2 or HDD into the PC, older games I think will be fine with LAN speed, I will try.

Anyone else who has done it, tips?
