They change Opus 4.8, again.

I have ongoing long conversion with Opus 4.8, with 4th time compacted, since then it was always thinking. After the elevated error today, it’s not thinking anymore. I know it’s adaptive, but Opus 4.8-high-thinking, on my ongoing conversation is always use thinking even in simple task.

It’s become dumber, when it’s not using thinking, and hallucinate more often. I hate when they always do this. Fck Anthropic.
