Fresher conflicted on work ex vs mba, please advise!

I am 22 years old and I just graduated with a bsc in Biotechnology. I really did not want to continue in that field and only finished the degree because I was already 2 years into it. I am currently a trainee at a freight forwarding company due to contacts in the logistics/scm field. It is for 6 months and then it will depend on further evaluation. I'm a little conflicted about whether I should just stick onto this, hopefully get converted into an employee, and be here for a few years before aiming for mncs, or if I should consider getting am mba? People I have asked have said that mba is useless now a days without work experience, and that I should try to stick on to this and work my way up (get online certifications and executive mba in the mean time) since the job market is tough right now. Please do give your opinions or insights below.
