Frequent keratoconjuctivities with dry eyes
In the past 6 months, this is the 3rd time I'm diagnosed with a mild/medium keratoconjuctivitis (cornea inflammation) while generally having dry eyes that is not that severe, but my eye doctor says that having dry eyes is probably the main reason that I have this infection so frequently. I've had it last November, then January in the left eye, and now I have it in my right eye. The symptoms are pretty similar to dry eyes, but way worse. There's an even more increased light sensitivity and the blurryness won't go away with blinking.
Does anyone else have this? Is there a recommendation how to avoid it? I've been thinking about better avoiding getting tap water in my eyes, and having a dedicated towel for wiping my eyes.
For dry eyes, it's generally pretty manageable for me by using Theolaz Duo during the day and Hylo Night Vitamin A paste for the night. My doctor says that he doesn't have the means to do proper tests on my meibom glands, so that's also something for me to find someone who can do it.
