Looking for alpha testers for my first vibe-coded project: RailSnap
Hi everyone,
I've spent the last few weeks building my first real vibe-coded project and I'd love some honest feedback from the community.
The project is called RailSnap – a social platform for train enthusiasts where people can share sightings, upload photos, track trains they've seen, follow other users, comment on posts, and help build a community fleet database.
I don't have a software engineering background, so this has been a huge learning experience. With the help of AI and a lot of persistence, I went from an idea to a working application that's now live in alpha.
If anyone has a few spare minutes, I'd really appreciate you taking a look. I'm especially interested in:
- Bugs or crashes
- Mobile usability
- Signup and login issues
- General UI/UX feedback
- Anything that feels confusing or unintuitive
You don't need to be interested in trains to help. I'm just looking for people to click around, try different features, and tell me what works and what doesn't.
The app is still in alpha, so you may run into unfinished features or bugs—that's exactly why I'm looking for testers. There's also a built-in bug reporting feature if you find anything.
This has been an amazing learning experience for me, and I'm genuinely grateful to the vibe coding community for inspiring me to build and ship something instead of leaving it as just an idea.
Thanks to anyone willing to give it a try, and I'd really appreciate any feedback you have.
