EES Update 23JUN LIS

Departing LIS on United, 1:50pm departure time (delayed from 12:20pm). Was able to use FastTrack for security. Zero wait at EES - machines for fingerprints were all working, but the "e-gates" were not, everyone redirected to manual check and that also had no wait. Breezed through.

After getthing through, I coudl see through a window what may have been some other passport line (entrance to the country perhaps?) and although it entirely filled the maze, it was moving nicely.

Looks like they finally gave up on the EES gate system and are reverting to the old fashioned way of checking passports.
