Applying for ILR from global talent visa - currently unemployed
Hello,
I am eligible to apply for ILR from my global talent visa (3yr) later this year. I took a redundancy package from my last employer in December and have been on sabbatical since. I am just now starting to get a bit more serious thinking about my next professional move, whether that is building a company or joining one. I haven't taken a paycheck since January 2026 that is relevant to my field (digital technology), and I'm curious if this will impact my likelihood of getting approved for ILR. I have read that they ask for recent paychecks. How recent does it need to be? Or is there a place that lists requirements to get approved for ILR from global talent visa with any personal experiences to match?
Thank you!
