Bank for freelancers

Hi everyone! I hope I can get some help about this.
Me and my boyfriend are both working as freelance illustrators/3D artists (bit difficult lately with ai and such rising)
I moved to Germany last year and used a C24 bank account. We were just notified being self employed is against the rules and we have to close our accounts.

Then BBVA was recommended as the best bank for self employed people, but during opening an account we were told no, we can’t use it as a business account.

Some of the rules and bureaucracy is surprising for me after living in the UK.

All these online only solutions being recommended online, like Revolute and Finom are something I don’t know I can trust.

We would be really thankful if you guys could give us some tips and advice!
