Hey all – we just took in a **2024 Geely Binyue** on trade and I honestly wasn't expecting much, but after the inspection and test drive, I'm kinda impressed. Figured I'd share in case anyone's been eyeing one or has ownership experience to share.

**The good stuff:**

* 1.5TD turbo (133kW / 290Nm) + 7-speed wet DCT – pulls pretty hard for a subcompact SUV, 0-100 in about 7.6s claimed, and it *feels* close to that.
* Full service records, low mileage, one owner, no accident/fire/flood history – passed our inspection with flying colors.
* Tech is surprisingly loaded – 540° camera with the "transparent chassis" gimmick (actually useful for tight parking), L2 ADAS, 12.3" screen, keyless go, auto hold.

**The not-so-good (honest take):**

* Ride is a bit firm – sporty tuning, but you'll feel potholes.
* Some of the interior plastics are hard-touch, but at this price point, it's expected.
* Fuel economy is decent but not class-leading – we got about 7.8L/100km mixed.

Not trying to push a sale here – more curious if any owners have thoughts on long-term reliability or common issues with the wet DCT. I've heard Geely's 7DCT is actually pretty solid, but always good to hear real-world feedback.

Also – for those who've driven both, how does this compare to the Honda HR-V or Mazda CX-30 in your opinion? Genuinely curious.

Happy to answer questions if anyone's considering one. Cheers.

Just got a 2024 Geely Binyue in stock – anyone here have experience with these 1.5TDs?
