romance recs where fmc has a personality

hi! i really loved maid-sama and skip to loafer (technically seinen but still) because i liked how both fmcs had a very clear, kinda headstrong personality and were loved lol. also liked how both of them had pretty big ambitions outside of romance ngl

i feel like a lot of shoujo suffers from fmcs having a sort-of passive damsel in distress, wilted flower personality... don't get me wrong its still nice to read in moderation :) but if anyone has any recs to the contrary pls lmk
