Wanna make an unofficial dub

So I'm from Hungary, (small, middle european country, population is about ~10mil) and the Backrooms, as a concept, is relatively popular among hungarian people. The movie was a huge commercial success here, the movie theater was almost completely packed on all 3 of my screenings, but I also had to realise that there is a big confusion surrounding this movie. People don't really know Kane here.

While many hungarian people are aware of the concept, as a whole, almost no one here knows about Kane's series. This is partly because of it being a webseries, but also, the muffled dialogues can be hard to make out, resulting in less people engaging with it.

With that being said, I wanna change that, I wanna make a full hungarian dub of all 23 episodes (as of now), translating every dialogue and every on-screen text.

My goal is to bring the series to a new audience that would absolutely love this story, making it fully accessible to non-english speakers in this country.

My only "problem" is, I don't really know what the best approach would be for a project like this.

Should I just reupload the dubbed versions with credits leading to the og episodes?

Or should I try to reach out to Kane about this?

Any help or suggestion would be greatly appriciated.
