What would make you rethink your btc thesis?

People often talk about why they bought their first btc, but I'm more curious about reasons that keep them holding. Maybe most people bought btc for self-custody or deregulation from banks, but kept holding as the price rose and began treating it more like an investment. Others may still believe in the same reasons that led them to buy the first btc. I started thinking about this while staring at btc chart on bydfi. It's easy to focus on the price and forget why you bought it. When the price goes up, your belief gets stronger. When it drops, you may start having doubts.Are you still holding btc for the same reason? What would make you change your mind?
