NEED SOME OPINIONS

is it safe for me and my partner to go to jhumka dam or any place that has a beautiful view nowadays ?

for context my partner will be back in the city for some time and we were planning to just roam about and visit some spots and i was planning on well dhauli and jhumka and what not but then the case from rayagada surfaced on june 6th and i remembered the attrocities that once had happened at dhauli and im worried not for dhauli as we were planning a trip in broad daylight but for jhumka and any place in general even as any place is danerous if the wrong crowds follow

and after the very quesionable power surge some of these wanna be local gundas and druggies and junkies have got im even more concerned for her safety and well being so please tell me is it safe or should i just drop the plans entirely opting for more boring yet safer options
