GPS with widget is off by 117 km

My model is a brand new Instinct 3 AMOLED

I often have a need to get my position in MGRS format. I downloaded magmiles GPS Position Widget for this.

The problem is that the MGRS position is off by about 117 km west. It's pretty accurate on the north/south axis.

When using the built in save-location feature, its position is spot on.

What could be causing the widget to be so off, even the actual GPS clearly is working? Any ideas for fixes?
