INFORMATION REGARDING NEW HOSTEL TENDER

Guys, a quick update regarding hostel accommodation.

The new hostel tender process is open till 25th, and there is a high possibility that the allotted hostels will be in the Khapri and MIHAN region, near the Metro Station. Although the distance is around 12 km, the entire route is connected by highway, so travel time is expected to be only about 20–25 minutes. Moreover, these locations are within the city area.

As discussed in the online bid meeting, multiple tenders have already been received, which is a positive sign.

For comparison, DIA hostel was around 8 km away, but being located in Turkmari village, it still took around 20 minutes or more to reach. I don't want to comment further on DIA.

Today, all of us received an email from the Associate Dean (Dr Aatish sir) regarding the ongoing tender process, and students have been specifically advised not to book DIA before the tender process is completed.

Therefore, please do not book DIA at any cost. If you have already booked it, try to get your money refunded.

Let's wait for the official hostel allotment decision.
