Building a content tool for creators, what's the one part of posting to IG you'd pay to never do again?

Instagram

I've spent the last few months building a tool for Instagram creators and agencies, and I've hit the point where my own opinions about it are useless. I post like a normal person, not like someone running ten client accounts, so I want to hear from people who actually live in this all day.

The thing started from a simple annoyance: getting one reel out meant bouncing between five tabs. Write the caption somewhere, hunt for hashtags somewhere else, build the carousel in a third place, then sit around waiting to hit publish at the right time. So I built something that does those parts in one spot.

Right now it handles a few things:

Scheduling, so reels and posts go out on their own instead of me babysitting the publish button. Carousels, where you give it one idea and it turns it into a 10-slide carousel in about a minute using 15+ templates. And captions plus hashtags, where it drafts the caption and pulls tags that actually rank instead of the dead ones everyone copies off each other.

The piece I'm building now is DM and comment automation.

So a few real questions for anyone who posts a lot:

What's the part of the posting workflow you hate the most? The one you'd happily hand off and never think about again.

For those of you running client accounts, where does scheduling software usually fall apart for you? I've used a few and they all annoy me in different ways, curious if it's the same things.

And on DM automation specifically: do you actually want it, or has it been done badly enough times that you've sworn it off?

Not selling anything here, I genuinely want to know if I'm building the right things or talking myself into features nobody asked for. Be blunt. I'd rather hear it now than after I've spent another month on the wrong thing.
