Being a decent human being doesn't even earn you basic respect

Sorry if this is worded wrong but I'm genuinely appalled by how people especially men have the audacity to treat women so rudely over their looks? I'm ugly as hell. Flat face, small beady slitted eyes, acne, tan, shaped like a twig and short. Really lost every single asian genetic lottery but damn.

Context I'm 16 years old, yesterday I just went out with my gorgeous friend to H&M to buy matching outfits and we took a few pairs to try on in the changing rooms. I had to come out a few times and go into my friend's changing room because she wanted to see how we'd look like together. She was taking a really long time and I realized I was basically occupying the other changing room and preventing other people from using it and when I realized I quickly went back to change out and return the items + leave the changing room so other people could use it and thankfully there was no one waiting outside.

I hung and zipped the clothes back properly onto the hangers and returned it to the employee, even saying thank you and this FULL GROWN MAN death glared me, made this stupid 'tch' sound and just tossed my clothes into the bin like right infront of me. I still had to wait for my friend so I just walked around the store for abit and this man was glaring at me from his booth the whole time.

I texted my friend about his behavior because what the hell was his problem but my friend continues to take her own sweet time, spending 40 minutes inside her changing room (because she brought in 3 sets of clothes) and eventually comes out. She told me "Really that guy was rude to you? He smiled at me and told me to have a good day"

She brushed it off as me not hanging the clothes back for the employee as well or something but damn we did the same thing and I got treated as if I murdered his first born??

I'm not angry or upset at my friend obviously because it's not her fault and a pretty girl obviously can't relate to my struggles and insecurities but this lowk hurt what little self esteem I have after I gathered enough courage to even step outside my home. Unless my behavior was really out of line and I genuinely caused a nuisance I don't understand why I was treated differently if not because of the fact that I'm ugly
