I've been working on this for a while now and I'm really proud of it, so I wanted to share it here.

It's called Fleeting — a journal app for iOS (Android coming soon) built around one idea: capturing thoughts in the moment without friction, and rediscovering them later.

I've always been someone who has thoughts I want to hold onto — a feeling, something I noticed, a memory — but by the time I've opened an app and navigated to the right place, the moment has passed. Fleeting is my attempt to fix that. Whether it's a quick voice note, a photo, or a video clip, you can capture a moment in seconds and move on.

But the part I'm most excited about is where the app is heading. I want Fleeting to surface your past thoughts back to you — things you captured on this day in previous years, entries you keep coming back to, moments you'd completely forgotten. Less like a productivity tool, more like finding an old letter from yourself. That's the direction I'm building toward.

A few things I made deliberate choices about:

* **No account required.** Your thoughts live on your device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
* **No subscription.** It's free to try, and if you love it, it's a one-time purchase to keep forever.
* **Capture anything.** Text, photos, voice notes, video, location — whatever the moment calls for.

I'd love to know what you use for capturing thoughts on the go, and what frustrates you about it. Always trying to learn what I'm missing.
