The Math in this novel is killing me

I am currently at chapters 1500+ and so far I have endured the mathematical inconsistencies that has been shown in the novel because the story is quite good and interesting, I love the Gu World, but I have reached the tipping point. Does it get better? Surely it does? Because the author is just pulling numbers from his ass and thinks about it as "Yeah! That sounds and looks cool!".
