Shower base (polymer) and AS3740. How do you waterproof?

I do not have a copy of AS3740.
I am looking for the official requirement for waterproofing of the shower and the shower area when you use a polymer shower base?
All the info I can find on line is all about tiled showers where the walls and floor are all waterproofed, and of course you cannot waterproof like that with a shower base with the studded wall being bare when the base is installed.
