TL;DR: My parents and sister keep crying, because of a medical issue that my sister has.

Hi, I'm 16M and my sister has a hearing aid from when she was born because of a heart disease (it spread to her ears, something of that sort.) So she was born partially deaf in both her ears, and there were hearing aids attached to her air from the very start of her life. The thing is that recently, we went for a checkup - and found out that one of her ear's completely damaged and basically, gone. She cannot hear in that ear at all, and doctors suggested surgery (BAHA aid) and 6 months of rehabilitation. This was from the first clinic, and the second clinic's verdict was to not do the surgery so early. The third clinic's verdict is still left. However, the main issue is that my parents cannot stop crying, nor can my sister. My mother's scared about the fact that she has to go through all this again since it was very difficult for her to go through the same thing when my sister was born. My sister's scared for her surgery. And the surgery comes at a very, very, disgustingly heavy price, alongside that, there's rehabilitation. Just one night back my father was crying hysterically because of the same thing. I'm very confused, the environment I'm living in is very grim and I'm seriously very bad at comforting people when they cry. It's not like I hate them, but I don't like this constantly depressing environment where all of them have no option but to cry and cry, which obviously makes me feel bad. I can't do anything about it and I'm feeling very guilty for some reason.

If anyone could talk me through this, I'd greatly appreciate it.
