Severe T going up and down per day

Hi fellow sufferers,

I've posted here before regarding my neck issues and taking medication alongside my tinnitus. I'm wondering if anyone can relate to tinnitus that fluctuates wildly from day to day.

Some days it's so loud that it's impossible to mask. Even when cycling into a 5 Beaufort headwind, it can be louder than the sound of the wind itself. Other days it's a bit quieter. It's still noticeable throughout the day, but I can barely hear it when listening to music, walking or cycling outside, or when I'm engaged in a conversation.

The changes over the last few weeks have been crazy. Actually, there doesn't seem to be any pattern at all. Every morning is a surprise, I never know what sound level I'll wake up to.

I sleep well thanks to 10 mg of amitriptyline, but the unpredictability of it all is really frustrating.

Can anyone relate?
