Anyone here a correctional officer ?

Just wondering if anyone here was a correctional officer?
Recently applied in NSW. Passed the interview and got booked for a medical and fingerprints.
Did the medical and passed all the physical aspects but unfortunately didn’t do well for the colour blindness test and was just off on the spirometry test as I had childhood asthma.

They’ve asked me to visit a GP and get it signed off but I’ve already had 2 knock me back as one of the questions is regarding exposure to CS gas which they’ve both said they can’t really answer.

Frustrating as I am very active, haven’t used an inhaler in 20+ years and have never had issues.

Anyone currently in the job have any insight into how this will affect progressing ?
