What should I do in two weeks in LA?

I will be traveling there from Spain for two weeks in july. What do local people recommend me to do in the city?

I am specially interested in alternative culture. I already hace tickets to see Big Brave with the Body and Have a Nice Life, and I want to attend to the Horse Lords show too.

I would appreciate any recommendations: what to do, things to see, tips for my stay, stores, food recommendations...
