VotLW or Renegade Warband

Hello all,

Whilst I know which 1 DP detachment I'm planning to run (Murdertalon) as I'm fond of both types of jump infantry, I'm stumped on which of Long War or Renegade Warband to take.

If I were to go with Veterans - I would probably build into Noise Marines in Rhinos with a MoE/MSU legionary unit, alongside a Defiler.

If I were to go with Renegade - Probably go with Havocs, one unit in the same role as the NMs and the other on foot and switch out the Defiler for Tzeentech daemons (Pink Horrors and Screamers).

I'm concerned that VotLW not having easy access to assault/adv+charge weakens the flexibility, but does RW lose too much raw power from not having dark Pacts

Interested to hear thoughts...
