Should I start preparing for drop?

I got 98.2 in mains, 23k in adv and 229 in bitsat, last preference is msc phy hyd

I don't want to pay 30k + PAF in josaa to get nits/iiits which are not good enough for the placements I want and will prolly block my opportunities of getting 40+ lpa and getting into bits seems unlikely so only option left is to take a drop but I am lowkey scared of messing up again
