Need excuses to hate Vic Musto
Compared to most characters, Vic Musto does seem like a Great Man. Paying for Eric to go to Georgetown as a wallpaper man is a pretty big commitment. And he's tough but mostly fair with Davey as he's bottoming out.
Vic did lie, however, when he said he "respects the ring" — just a couple of days later, he seems up for beginning an affair with Carmela. And lied to get a free hot lunch, of course.
Thing is though, Vic's also a bit of a douche-bag and I don't like him. So what misdeeds of this state-certified-but-still-dangerous man can I hold against him?
Did he take a moral stand, or piss his pants? Maybe he's paying Ramone under the table or something? Annoyingly, I think he was right about the vertical striped wallpaper being a lot for the eye to handle. What was Carm thinking?!
