I spent a year writing a sci-fi/cosmic horror novella about a man who becomes obsessed with proving UFOs are future humans. Today it's finally published.

Adult - Science Fiction

Hi everyone,

I've just published my first science-fiction/cosmic horror novella, The Extempestrial Hypothesis.

The story follows Elliot Vale, a researcher obsessed with a controversial theory: UFOs aren't extraterrestrial at all. They're extempestrial—visitors from humanity's future.

When impossible messages begin arriving online, predicting events before they happen, Elliot becomes convinced he has finally found proof.

Only one person tries to stop him.

An anonymous forum user known as ScepticMick.

His warnings are always the same:

Fail the tests.

Tell Sarah everything.

Don't go alone.

I wanted to write something that starts as a UFO mystery, becomes a time anomaly thriller, and eventually turns into cosmic horror.

The idea was inspired by the future-human UFO hypothesis, but I wanted to explore what happens when somebody becomes so convinced by a theory that they stop questioning where the evidence is actually leading them.

It's available now on Amazon Kindle and Kindle Unlimited.

I'd be happy to answer any questions about the writing process, self-publishing, or the ideas behind the book.
