Sneaking Around With My Girlfriend’s Favorite Artist (FxF/FU)

For this RP prompt, my idea is that our characters dated for about four years before Muse B’s music career really took off. Of course, Muse B tried to bring Muse A into her new lifestyle, but with all the touring, interviews, and constant attention, Muse A ultimately decided to walk away and pursue a quieter life. Muse B understood, and although they drifted apart, they still managed to keep in touch over the years. Their conversations were occasional, but they never completely lost contact.

In the present day, Muse A is stuck in a toxic, on-again, off-again relationship. She and her girlfriend are constantly fighting, arguing, and finding new ways to hurt each other. Then Muse A discovers that her girlfriend has gone on a date with her sister. Knowing just how much of a die-hard fan her girlfriend is of Muse B, she decides to reach out to her ex and see if they can meet up.
At first, her plan is simple: meet with Muse B, take a few secret photos together, and rub it in her girlfriend’s face. However, the moment she sees Muse B again after all those years, old feelings come rushing back. It doesn’t take long before they end up spending the night together.

The next morning, Muse A immediately leaves and does everything she can to forget what happened. To her, it was a mistake something that should never happen again. But Muse B isn’t ready to let her go so easily.

She starts calling and texting whenever she can. During interviews, she subtly talks about someone special in her life without ever mentioning a name. Eventually, she takes things even further by writing songs inspired by Muse A.

Before long, fans begin piecing the clues together. Rumors spread online, and people become convinced that Muse B has a secret girlfriend. It becomes only a matter of time before all eyes turn toward Muse A and her identity is exposed.

I’d love to explore both characters navigating the fallout from this situation. Muse B is determined to win Muse A back and prove that they deserve a second chance, while Muse A does everything in her power to keep her distance and convince herself that rekindling their relationship would be a mistake. Between the media attention, obsessive fans, public speculation, and the unresolved feelings they’ve both been carrying for years, things are bound to get messy.
