Is Full Stack Development still worth it in 2026?
Hi everyone,
I recently started learning Full Stack Development after talking to a few seniors and people already working in tech
now, whenever I come on Reddit, I see a lot of posts saying that full stack is dead, AI will replace developers, there are no jobs, etc. 😅
but at the same time, I'm seeing companies still hiring for these roles and conducting hiring drives, which is making me feel a bit more positive
I joined a full stack program a few weeks back after doing a lot of research and talking to people:

One thing that surprised me is that companies are actually still coming for hiring drives. That's why all the "full stack is dead" posts are confusing me a bit
For people who are already working in tech or preparing for placements:
- Is full stack still a good career path?
- Has AI really reduced opportunities that much?
would love to hear honest opinions from people who are in the industry or recently got placed
