Heavily questioning, looking for advice
Hey.
As the title says, I've recently been very, very heavily questioning my gender. This is my first post on reddit, so i don't know if this is the right sub or the right way to go about it, but I've been feeling so stressed about this and I need outside opinions. For context, I'm a 20 year old male, and for the last few years I've had... I guess small doubts in my gender here and there, but I've kind of always ignored them. I never really considered myself as someone that could be trans, and I guess I still don't, but recently it's been getting harder and harder to ignore. The idea of being a woman just seems right, but also seems very wrong, and I don't feel like I am actually serious about these thoughts. I don't experience dysphoria (I think), I don't seriously hate my body because it's a man's body, and I would only be a bit sad if someone told me I was going to be a man for the rest of my life. On the other hand, if I could press a button and become a woman for the rest of my life, I'd probably press it in a heartbeat. I think. I dont know. I've tried to speak to some of my trans friends about this, but really they haven't given me any concrete advice to follow. And maybe there just isn't any concrete advice for something like this.
I guess the point of this post is to just talk to members of the trans community and like, hear people's experiences dealing with this kind of thing. Try and figure out if I actually am trans or not. If there is a better sub to talk about this in, please let me know.
