Servus von Wien! New user (yesterday) placement suggestions?
Hi all. I picked up my portasplit yesterday. I have two placement options:

street-facing window that is full sun. (window seen from kitchen, double box window opens inward)
- This install would likely require a DIY box hack if anyone complained about the overhang. I'm not in a protected or community building, but the people here do love the regulations.
- I'm the ground level flat, windows are ~2.7m off the sidewalk. Theft a concern?
- Efficiency concerns?
- Louder while running/at night? -
Full shade garden, accessed via full sliding glass door.
- Quieter at night in the bedroom (street side of the flat)
- Less cool in bedroom vs kitchen
- Larger amount of area to 'seal' around the sliding door, need to make sure it is 'weatherproof' to protect wooden floor.
