Hello to all programmers and employed peeps out there help me out.

I’m mapping out my degree path and looking ahead to the 2035 job market. I’m aiming for a career that bridges the gap between software development and AI, rather than just being a "coder" or a "specialist."

I’m torn between these three paths:
1. Software Engineering (Honours) + Minor in Entrepreneurship (4 years, structured, systems-focused).
2. Computer Science (Major in Software Engineering) (Broad, theoretical "gold standard").
3. Computer Science (Major in AI) (Highly specialized).

My core dilemma:
The AI Major: Is this actually worth it for long-term stability by 2035? Or will AI skills become a "commodity" that generalist software engineers handle anyway?

The "Hybrid" Edge: Is the SE + Business minor the best way to stay relevant, or is a CS degree safer because it’s broader and more theory-heavy?

Long-term Outlook: In 2035, will it be better to be a "specialist" in AI, or a "generalist" in Software/Systems who can orchestrate AI tools?

If you were starting today, which path would you choose to ensure you’re still indispensable in a decade? Thanks for the insight!
