I paid 25 euros for changing the tube of my escooter is it a good deal?

Hey everyone, just wanted an review, my scooter's tyre was deflating in 2 or 4 days, initially i thought it might be because of heat or so, but it occurred again and agian so i tried to change it by myself, it didn't cost me because i could borrow the tools from this cycle repair shop at uni, but i couldn't get the tyre out and in that i damaged a bit of rim. I found one guy online he asked me 80 euros, i bargained it to 25 i told him i am giving you all meterial its just your labour, and for a mechaic its a job of hardly half an hour.

But in that process to save money i had to take out the tyre by myself cut the wires and travel an 2 hrs... should I have paid him 80 and let him do whole job?
