Just got home from Titration Study

Discussion

Got my Airsense 11 CPAP in February with an original setting of 5-20. For the first 30 days I struggled heavily with leaks and my mask blowing off my face during the night. The doctor adjusted it down to 5-15 and ordered a titration study. In the mean time, I found that the shorter I keep my beard, the less leaks I have; however, my AHI has been still fluctuating between 5 and 12.

Anyway, I had my titration study last night and curious what others experience was like. I had an extremely difficult time sleeping. About every hour I would wake up briefly and I was tossing and turning a lot more than usual. I think it was a combination of being in a new environment, an extremely firm mattress, and all the electrodes hooked up to me. The tech did say she found a good setting for me but couldn't share with me. She also had the tube set to 86F with 6 humidity. I was shocked because I currently have my tube set to 72F and 3 humidity. My mouth was a bit dry when I woke up.

Is this experience pretty standard? Does the fact that I slept poorly mean that I will see less benefit from the titration study? Has anyone noticed a significant difference after adjusting the tube temp?
