How can a GP know nothing about peptides?

NSFW

So I’ve been on BPC157, TB500 and GHKcu for six weeks now. I went to the GP today to get a blood test ordered just to make sure all is ok. Doc didn’t even know what I was talking about, googled BPC right in front of me, and didn’t even ask me what the other two were (even though I mentioned I was on 3).

I asked her to test for copper ( I had written down 3 tests I’d found relating to copper) and she asked me why!? I had to explain why.

She’s a young doc and I thought they would be more knowledgeable about peptides seeing as they are so popular at the moment (prob have been for a long time I just didn’t know about them).

She has ordered the basic tests, which is what I went in there for, but then sidetracked to all this other stuff. Stuff like preventative measures to make sure I don’t get diabetes and high blood pressure and all this other crap. I’m 48 years old. Oh and then she told me my bmi is a bit high - um ….duh.

So I wanted a simple blood test and now I’ve opened a can of worms. My goodness!
