Avarept review: Abouth 2 month on it
For me, it has definitely reduced my eye surface pain, especially the burning/stinging sensation.
The biggest change is that Xiidra no longer burns my eyes like it used to. Before Averept, Xiidra would sting so much that I had to keep my eyes closed for about 10 minutes after using it, now the burning is either gone or very minimal.
It hasn’t fixed everything. My eyelid pain, especially in the upper lids, hasn’t really improved.
I also still have a dull aching type of pain.
But the surface burning has clearly decreased.
Background: I have MGD, but my staining has usually been zero to very minor, basically almost no staining. So my symptoms were always much worse than what the staining showed.
