Calling all inattentive adhders
I suppose this goes for social life, family and work, which has basically been non-existent my entire life.
I'm still waiting for my second assessment, as my first one was put down to my upbringing, which I feel is definitely impacted by my ADHD but unfortunately it wasn't seen as such.
I can't deal with sitting in the same spot most Self-medicating from a.m. to p.m anymore.
I've not worked since lockdown and even when I did I was highly dysregulated all the time, this includes socialising.
I got asked out for coffee then other day but this guy and I had to turn him down as the comorbidity of having ADHD and cptsd has just made my life one. Incoherent fuzzball, which either pushes people away or retracts the wrong people that want to take advantage of my lack of memory and self-esteem issues.
I don't have connections that are lasting that includes my family because I don't reach out and feel unsafe doing so.
I try and keep busy as much as I can, Therapy twice a week, I've recently taken up muay Thai and I go to the gym as often as I can.
Please has anyone been diagnosed as attentive and been put on medication and seen a difference in their life?
A life that's actually worth living?
Because I'm tired of people asking me what I've done with my week And feeling nothing but embarrassment and shame, even if I had done something that week it's hard to even get the words out.
