S1ii or S1iie as A cam?
Hey!
Looking for opinions about trying to add different system to my Sony gear.
I need additional full frame video oriented camera but it can be hybrid too. I just can't justify to buy another Sony as it doesn't bring anything new to my workflow. I'm doing around 30 different jobs per month - podcasts, social media horizontal and vertical, documentary kind of stuff.
I have Sony A7s3, A74, zv10, zv10 bunch of e-mount lenses. (I had a7, a7r, a7s, A7iii, a6000, a6100, a6400, a6500, Canon 60d, Canon 6d, Panasonic gh-5).
Sony is great workhorse but they becoming another Kodak which are much late with adding innovation to their pro consumer camera range. We are still driving 2019 camera (a7s3, fx3) but social media are changed and world are much faster now.
I would like to have 6k, 50p for both delivery formats, good 4k 25p for podcasts. I don't need RAW primary camera, couse it will slow down my workflow. I sometimes shoot 3 different projects per day an raw is overkill. But I need RAW 2-5 times per year.
I am considering:
Canon R6v
Panasonic s1ii or s1iie
Nikon ZR (half baked weird camera, but financially most reasonable)
The first lens should be 24-70 or 28-70, 24-105mm maybe.
What are the pros and cons?
